Place of Marriage: Philadelphia,Philadelphia Co.,PA.
NOTE- The age of the older Samuel is based upon a "Philadelphia County Index of Wills" listing a Samuel Burkelow in 1740. It's not a big stretch to believe Samuel(b.1709), son of Reynier, could have lived to age 65 and died in 1774. But, the older Samuel's occupation was listed as cordwainer(saddle maker and/or shoemaker). The Samuel Burkelow appearing in various Philadelphia records throughout the Revolutionary Period was always listed as a "Jeweler" and "Silversmith", and the Jacob Burkelow of the same city and period was a "Chandler". Normally, journeymen with skilled professions like Samuel and Jacob Burkelow wouldn't have married until their mid to late 20's.
