NOTE #1- Barnet Barklow never married. In his will(Estate #2149,Book C.,p.722), he named brothers, James and John, both deceased, and an unmarried brother,Absalom.
Witnesses to Barnet Bartlow's will were: George Cresler(1768-1839), James R. Scott, and Joseph Casey. There doesn't appear to be any known relationships between these witnesses, other than long-time neighbors, and the Bartlows of Southampton Twp.,Cumberland Co.,PA.
NOTE #2- Barnet,Jr., also names Polly Bartlow as the widow of brother,James Bartlow, and binds unmarried brother, Absalom Bartlow, "to keep James' widow, Polly, while she chooses to live with him(Absalom)."
NOTE #3- In addition to naming Absalom Bartlow(1785-1842) as the executor of his(Barnet's) will, Barnet bequeaths upon Absalom's death, that his "property be equally divided between children of Thomas Durboraw(widower of Barnet's sister), and the children of John Bartlow, deceased, and the children of Absalom if he should hereafter marry and have children."
